Basic Needs UK in Kenya and USP-K encourage partnership with local medical centres such as Lusigetti Health Center in Kikuyu District, Central Province.  Basic Needs UK provides free medication and USP-K provides education and information about mental health.

Community Development Officer, Basic Needs UK in Kenya training  group leaders on group dynamics, management and leadership skills. Basic Needs UK, a partner of USP-K, has facilitated the formation and establishment of more than 20 users groups in Nairobi and its environs. Usp-K members have benefited a lot from these trainings.

A consultation meeting for volunteers offering psychosocial support to IDPs in Kirathimo camp in Limuru.  Loving support offered to victims of trauma helps to prevent long-term mental illnesses.
